The cosplayer is cosplaying "Fat Buccha" from "Air Gear". Those who have watch this anime should know his size and shape of the skate. His skates are cover with boxes that is the shape of a tank.
Here are the only pictures Big Khai Wen get.
No joke, this is one in a life time opportunity for skating!
Ever imagine all the best of the best slalomer from the world gather together, in Malaysia, to perform slalom?
Watch this video first if you don't know what is slalom.
We just had the opportunity, thanks to Skateline.
During the Saturday Night Skates, it was raining, heavily. But our passion towards this SNS is so strong, and believe that we will find a dry place in Putrajaya to skate.
And thanks Skateline again who found a shaded and skateable tunnel.
Do I mention that most of us from MMU wearing red shirts, with santa hat?
Here come the best of the night:
Slalomer from Germany, France, UK, Singapore, etc was there with us, performing slalom tricks, and is the first LIVE slalom demo we ever see in Malaysia with our own eyes.
They are Chloe, Greg, Terence, Swan, Rudy, Igor, Georgior, and Sebastian!!!!! All from SEBA team.
Terence was teaching us basic tricks. We received some tips from them, and it works~
MMU skaters with Sebastian, team manager of SEBA slalom team. (find the tallest guy with white shirt standing in middle without skate, and long long hair~)
Sue Ern getting autograph from Sebastian~
Signed by Seba! And also other slalomers!
It's a very nice experience, and don't think we will have second one in our life.
Skate rocks!
Do you guys think we need some packaging? Easier way is through a T-shirt~
There are several designs available here, thanks to Naz who design it.
Comment?

We know that skating is cheap transport, who don't need petrol to power it, and we can skate everywhere we like, free.
This doesn't goes with car. Drivers who always fetch us to Putrajaya, to SNS in KL areas, their cars need petrol, need tolls charge, need maintenance etc.
So here is a new simple rule, to appreciate the driver's effort.
Effective immediately, for every skating event to Putrajaya Boulevard, skaters will be paying RM1 to drivers; while for SNS which not in Putrajaya (Titiwangsa, Lake Garden etc), skaters shall pay RM3 to drivers.
Thanks, we will hope one day, car can run without petrol, haha!

With total 9 skaters from MMU, we conquered Titiwangsa Lake, yea!
Nice background, too bad the Eyes on Malaysia already moved. But we still have a Twin Tower, not bad~
Maneuver between cars, that's skating. Driving is so slow!
**This is not car advertisement.
The skaters who attended are:
Hope next time will be more, yahoo! Skate rocks!
Chukahamnida!~ (korean congratulation~)
Yesterday is the first time long distance skating from FIT MMU to Old Town for Seaw Wei, Sue Ern and Kok Full, well done, although not very efficient, but is a big improvement!
Together with V, Su, Ben, Chris, we skated over the journey, crossed the road, over the up and down terrains, and reached Old Town Cyberjaya, safely~
With effort, next skating will be more people, and faster.
Shall we try skate to Alamanda one day?
Maybe due to the Monday promotion skate for Green Club and GDC, our skate community became more popular, yea!
On the same Monday night, 3 new foreign skaters joined us, welcome Amin, Meshaal, and Muhammad!
Forgot to take Amin's photo as he left early. He is an inline skate coach in his country, so now, we have a coach~
We already settled the compound's problem, and will be able to skate in FIT legally~

So as usual, our Monday night skate at FIT Atrium, will be going on~
Venue: FIT Atrium, MMU.
Time: 9pm
See you there~
See a lot of skaters had been skating for 1 semester, and most are confident in doing simple skating moves like go front and stopping. clap* clap*
So, here is a small event you all can try out:

Everyone who interested will be briefed about how to promote, no worry~ And no worry for assignment, it's 2nd week~ This is a nice and cool opportunities to skate in public, learning + playing.

As there is probably only 1 car going, so, first come first serve.
Anyone else wanna go, please reply in the chat box, contact V at v.handed[at]gmail[dot]com or Su at cyberstw[at]hotmail[dot]com.
Tomorrow Monday Skate shall be the LAST official Monday Skate for this semester. (sad)

Good luck in final to all skaters, skate rocks!

Time: 9pm
Venue: FIT Atrium
Confirmed Skaters:
Anyone else wanna skate, just meet at FIT Atrium, 9pm.

Another successful skate at Putrajaya!
And this is also the first time outdoor skate for 2 skaters, Sue Ern and Seaw Wei~
Seaw Wei, fuyoh, can fly liao~
Because that time is coincidently same time with Friday prayer, so the mosque area was fully parked with car. 1 car manage to find a slot at mosque area, while another car have to park in the middle of Boulevard, and skate into mosque to meet up.
This prove that: walking is so slow.
Sue Ern can skate up stair~ Don't play play.
Final exam is getting near, good luck for all skaters~
Date: 19/09/08
Time: 8.30pm depart from MMU
Venue: Putrajaya Mosque

Anyone else wanna skate, just meet at FIT Atrium, 9pm.
Skate on!!!
Yesterday came a new skater, Kok Full, and an Old Skater, who MIA for the whole semester, CK. We almost forgot your face lo!
Hihi Kok Full~ (He has the fast learning ability like Big Khai Wen)
This is CK, lost and found after 1 semester. Unofficially, he owed all of us 24 cups of Chinese Tea Ice.
As some members are having exams and rushing assignment, so some didn't show up. But we still have a lot skaters there.
Beside normal skating and slalom, we tried sliding. It's cool!
Sara's parallel slide, very nice.(at least during shuttle moment, haha)
Hao Ming parallel slide, not bad too.
Here share an inline freestyle sliding clip from Korea, enjoy~
Yer~~ Why you throw ball at me?
Caution: please stay at home after 10pm, monster around.
Final exam is coming soon, good luck!
SUNS tonight (14/09/08) cancelled because of da stupid rain!! Yay!! Everyone go sleep!!
Skate off!!!
In conjunction with the mooncake festival, we are going to have a Sunday Night Skate tonight at Putrajaya Boulevard.
Date: 14/09/08
Time: 9pm
Venue: Putrajaya Boulevard
Skating Difficulty : Beginners onwards
Due to limited number of cars, we will have to divide skaters into 2 groups:
Group 1 departs @ 8pm:
Group 2 departs @ 8.30pm:
Skaters staying in Cyberia, wait at roundabout. Hostel skaters wait at zebra cross.
Any enquiries please contact V at v.handed[at]gmail[dot]com or Su at cyberstw[at]hotmail[dot]com
Skate on!!!
8 persons of us (without Li Xuan, pity little sick girl, you miss a good skates~).
Meeting at Skateline Damansara, with some talking and chit chat. Hao Ming has his new wheels, his old wheels already flatted till the inner plastic. Sara has her brake pad removed, means another freestyle skater coming~
We found one interesting knowledge:
ABEC is a standard for bearing, the spinning device of a skate, higher the rating, less energy required to spin the same quantity of rounds. Most skates come with ABEC 3, 5 and 7. Impressive?
As usual, we reached our SNS destination, and start off our journey with lucky draws. Guess what?
All 3 lucky draws were won by MMU skaters! Yahoo!
Congratulation to Seaw Wei, V, and Hao Ming~
"I dodge!" Useless la, my camera faster.
"Exhausted? Drink 100 Plus like me." - (100Plus is not our Skate Club sponsor)
Sara - "I am hungry~" (she is fasting, sorry for her first meal of her day delayed)
Ballet? Don't know, it just look funny.
Dinner time (although most recognize as supper time)
It's night before Mid Autumn Festival, can see a lot of families playing around in the park. Kids holding lanterns, parents chit chat, couples too. A very happening and nice place to skate.
The moon is almost full, and "theoretically" it will be very round tonight. Wish everyone a Happy and peaceful Mid Autumn Festival! (or Mooncake festival, whatever you call it)
